Pat O'Hara works for BSES and this will be his first Himalayan expedition. Previously Pat has skiied and boarded big mountain in Canada, skydived competitively in Eurpoe and coached soccer in the USA.

"I can't wait for this expedition, a big challenge for me. I'm hoping this will be the gateway for bigger and more extreme adventures. Later this year I'm hoping to experience -20 degrees C in Svalbard, Summit mountains in the Tien Shen, cross the sand dunes in Libya and ski tour the Lyngen alps."

Ben Rigby has recently returned from South Georgia and the Falkland isles where he survived attacks from Fur seals and a sinking ship. Previously, Ben spent 5 weeks exploring Greenland in summer.
